Here are all the steps you need to go to from arriving to boarding your plane.

Don't forget to:
- Check the validity of your identity document as well as the entry requirements for the country you are travelling to
- Scan and upload your identity documents to a cloud. That way, you can access them wherever and whenever you want
- Check size and weight restrictions for bags included in your ticket
Before you leave
Secure your spot in your car park of choice, especially during busy periods, by booking your parking space online! Book early to receive the best rates.
Finally, check-in online on your airline's website to obtain your boarding pass.
The day of your flight
Is your flight in a few hours? Don't forget to keep your travel and identity documents to hand.
We advise you to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight, leaving yourself plenty of time to get to the airport and factoring in traffic as well.
Make sure to regularly check the status of your flight on our Live Flight Tracker page. If you haven't done so already, you can sign up for our Travel Companion service to receive notifications at every stage of your flight: check-in, boarding, etc.
Arriving at the airport
To get to the airport, you can:
- Take the ring road with your car and park in one of our car parks
- If someone is taking you to the airport, you can use the the Drop-off Zone, free for the first 10 minutes. NB: Do not drop off passengers in traffic lanes, as this puts the safety of others at risk, and you could be fined
- Use public transport. The airport shuttle and buses are available
Checking in Baggage
Most airlines allow you to check in online- a few days or hours before your departure- and obtain your boarding pass free of charge. Some airlines only issue boarding passes at the airport.
Checking-in baggage at the airport is when airline staff collect your hold baggage. To check in a bag, go to the departure area, and check-in desks D to J, on the ground floor of the terminal.
If you have your boarding pass and no bags to check in, you can go straight through security.
Security Controls
Once you have checked in your hold baggage, head to security controls.
In security controls, security staff will check that you are not carrying any prohibited or dangerous items on your person or in your cabin/ hand luggage.
Passport control before take-off
On some flights, you will be asked to go through identity controls by Border Police. You will need to present a valid form of identification: a national identity card or passport.
Health cards, family record books, etc. are not accepted.
Boarding
Once you have gone through security control, you can head on to the boarding lounge. If you arrive at the airport well in advance, you can take advantage of the shops and restaurants before boarding opens.
Pay attention to the announcements and regularly check your boarding time and gate on the screens. These may change to meet operational requirements.
Make sure to present yourself at the boarding gate before the boarding deadline (BD). After this time, you will no longer be able to board the aircraft.
Flight
Flights are managed by your airline. To find out about onboard services, complete your reservations (request PRM assistance, UM, etc.) or for any other questions, contact them.
Arriving at the airport after your return
Upon your arrival, you may need to go through Identity checks by the Border Police and checks on goods by Customs.
You will then need to go through baggage reclaim.
However, if your baggage is missing, your will need to report it to your airline before leaving the airport.
